Challenge
In Izmir there are too less dog walkers and too many dog owners. And the dog owners are not be available everytime and their pup friends would be sad if they can’t get a walk.
Solution
We want everyone to be happy because not everytime people has their time to go for a walk with their dogs and their dogs needs a walk. Finding the right person for them is

How can we create a service to connect dog owners with dog walkers, whilst looking at how I can help dog owners trust their dogs are in safe hands?
Understanding the user
I used Dog walker’s data to develop interview questions, which were then used to conduct user interviews. Most participants wants the dog walking app for their tight schedule and never finding a time to walk with their dogs everyday. They also frustrated that there are not many places around for the dogs. the feedback received through research made it very clear that users would be open and willing to work towards creating dog walker app that finds the best dog walkers around for the people that has tight schedule or can’t find a time to go out with their dogs.

Starting the design
After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, I created the initial designs for the Food Saver app. These designs focused on delivering personalized guidance to users to help manage their food.
Accessibility considerations

Clear labels for interactive elements that can be read by screen readers. Most importantly and mostly commented topic was confirmation page and added a confirmation page for better understanding the process.

Initial focus of the home screen on personalized recommendations help define the primary task or action for the user.
Refining the design
Based on the insights from the usability studies, I applied design changes like providing a clear section from the home screen to highest rated walkers and nearby walkers around.
Going forward

Users are now happier in the neighborhood because they can find nearby dog walker which are safe and trustworthy for their beloved dogs. And their dogs are now much more happier because of their needs are met.

I learned that even though the problem I was trying to solve was a big one, diligently going through each step of the design process and aligning with specific user needs helped me come up with solutions that were both feasible and useful.
Responsive designs
The designs for screen size variation included mobile, tablet, and desktop. I optimized the designs to fit specific user needs of each device and screen size.
Next steps

Conduct research on how successful the app is in reaching the goal to find people around that are trustworthy and earns the editorial support for the users that has dogs.

Add more educational resources for users to learn how their dogs are looked after when they give their dogs to strangers.

Provide incentives and rewards to users for successfully manage the dogs and met the requirements for the proper dog walker.
